bridal shower

Here are some pics of my bridal shower, as you can see the ladies at capernwray and on the island went to a lot of trouble. Susy organised it a lot with help. It was so thoughtful, the ladies brought their own wedding pictures, the snacks were strawberries dipped in different chocolate, dutch cookies and gorgeous drinks. So much trouble had been gone to to decorate, choose nice gifts and to keeping it a suprise. Mary Jensen handed me each present very carefully and helped me unwrap not so carefully. It was really special! Andy and I were so taken a back by the generosity of our friends and how each gift was really nice and something we wanted, such as a panini press, blender, hand blender, stretched canvas, apple pie dish, lots of really cool plates and dishes, picture frames and also things that were practical but also really stylish and nice, like dish towels and a magnetic fridge calandar. I'm missing out lots of gifts but we really appreciated all of them. It was fun unpacking it all into our little house and having it start to feel like my home.
