This post is coming to you courtest of Andy and Amie's new macbook.

Once upon a time there was a 16 year old girl, starting college and needing a computer. She worked at the kids club at the gym, saved some money and bought an ibook. The girl (we'll call her Amie) loved her ibook but about 16 months later tea was spilt on it and it died.....thankfully a comprehensive insurance plan provided a replacement and a new ibook was purchased which she affectionatly (and somewhat jokingly) dubbed 'iBaby' (get it, iBook-iBaby) This 'iBaby' travelled the world with her and whilst at bible school she shared it with her friend Andy, kind of a co parentship deal, he looked after the ibaby for a couple of days a week, she had is the rest. Until one day he got an ibook from work and then upgraded to a power book. But Amie didn't care because she was happy with her supped up iBaby. The IBaby was faithful while she was at university even though it was old (by this point it was 5 which is like 300 year old in computer years) and then one day, all too suddenly, in the 'post extended warrenty' stage of the iBaby's life, it got confused and the screen scrambled and Amie knew it was the end of the road for her ibaby. She took it to the genius who confirmed her prognosis and iBaby's fate was sealed.

Unable to afford a replacement Amie reconcled herself to being computerless unless some money was to come from some where miraculously, well it did. and here we are with our new macbook (or macbabe if you will....ok maybe that's too far) it is so shiney and new and I am really, really thankful (and excited to see what it can do)

This is going to make wedding planning much easier (what, you didn't think I could go whole post without mentioning wedding planning did you???)
