First day home

Last night I arrived home and it is so nice to be home for a bit. Today was busy, Nigel, Beth and their 3 children arrived at 5am for the day and Mark brought Evie to visit for a bit this afternoon too so it was lots of fun, except Hally was sick so Beth, Meg and Hally stayed for another night. This gave Meg and me the chance to do some cooking and baking together. We made fajitas for dinner and then experimented with deserts, making a jelly with strawberries and lemonade and a very yummy Mars bar cake. Meg loves to help and is so competent in the kitchen.
